Despite reuniting with Julian Nagelsmann at the Bavarian club, with whom he worked at RB Leipzig, Sabitzer failed to establish himself as a key player at the Allianz Arena. He has started just seven Bundesliga games this season while coming on as a substitute on eight occasions.

On a loan deal, Sabitzer could prove to be a great addition to Manchester United. The Austrian’s greatest quality is his incredible versatility. He is capable of playing in midfield and even in the front three. Adding such a player to his ranks can only be beneficial for Erik ten Hag.
Moreover, Sabitzer’s style of play makes him an ideal candidate under the Manchester United manager. He works extremely hard and is a tireless runner and seems tailor-made for ten Hag’s high-intensity system.
