Dehradun:Violence erupted after stone-pelting during the Shobhayatra, not only in the country’s capital New Delhi, but also in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, on the day of Hanuman Jayanti. Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Yogendra Singh Rawat says that the situation is currently under control. The matter is being investigated. SP Countryside Pramendra Dobal said that during the procession, stones were pelted from the roofs of the houses. Many people have been injured in this, who have been admitted to the hospital.
