Trainwreck Sex Scene With Amy Schumer Was ‘Embarrassing’

John Cena has had plenty of unforgettable naked moments, but that doesn’t make them any less awkward.

From his 2024 Oscar stunt to his sex scenes, Jackpot! The actor recalled some of his most embarrassing moments during a recent interview on Shannon Sharpe Club Shay Shay podcast. This includes his comedic sex scene with Amy Schumer in the 2015 film Train accidentwhere Cena played Schumer’s character’s boyfriend.

“Amy is an angel, she made the environment so comfortable, and then when I got the part, they were like, ‘Yeah, it’s a sex scene. We want you to do crazy, elaborate sex stunts, and all those lines you had? We’re probably not going to use them, we’re just going to do this stunt sex scene,'” Cena recalled of filming.

“It’s like a big production. But man, man, the catering was there, and the sound tent was there,” the WWE star continued. “There’s so many people that go into making a movie. There’s nothing intimate about it. Nothing. So it’s really awkward, and on top of that, to do a comedic sex scene where you’re making fun of yourself? They were literally like, ‘Try to have the most awkward sex possible.’”

However, that wasn’t Cena’s worst memory. Ricky Stanicky The actor said his Oscars skit earlier this year, in which he presented an award on stage almost completely naked, was much more unpleasant.

“I walk out in front of a room full of my peers — many of whom I’ve never met because I haven’t worked to meet them. [them]”I gathered the most decorated artists, producers, and directors in one room, and I’m going to go in there, balls in the wind, with a sheet covering my stuff, like, ‘Hey guys, is this funny? Are we good?’

After the podcast episode aired, Schumer then spoke out Instagram Story to respond to Cena’s comments about their Train accident sex scene.

“John, how dare you?” she joked in a video. “That sex scene meant a lot to me and I was really into it. And I’m in love with you.”
