Molina clearly didn’t want to break the news and began her open letter by writing, “Welp. this fucking king sucks.

The flyweight fighter called on people not to treat him any differently after opening up in a statement.

He posted on Twitter: “I’ve tried to keep my love life private from social media.

“I’ve been dating girls my whole life and bottled up the feelings I had all through high school being on the wrestling team, all through college pursuing MMA, and even after. to have achieved part of the dream and entered the UFC.

“I’m a pretty masculine guy and that bro-y banter and sus sense of humor has always been who I am. The thought of my buddies, teammates and people I look up to looking at me differently let alone treating me differently something I can’t control was something I couldn’t comprehend.

“I wanted to be known for my skills and what I’ve dedicated the last 11 years of my life to and not the ‘bi UFC fighter’ which I’m sure would simply be translated as ‘gay UFC fighter’.

“At the end of the day, I know my character, my morals and who I am as a person. As much as I’m hated/shit, I get equal support and that means a ton af***.

Molina has previously been attacked by bigoted fans after showing her support for Pride Month.

The 25-year-old was told he would “burn in hell” after revealing he would be wearing rainbow colors for his UFC Vegas 56 victory over Zhalgas Zhumagulov last summer.

The American has been in the UFC since 2017 and has won 11 of his 13 fights.

His last loss was to Nate Smith over five years ago, but he’s had a relentless streak in the flyweight division since.

The win over Zhumagulov was his 10th straight and he hopes to have a shot at a title challenge soon.
