Mingyu’s fashion year continues with a new Calvin Klein campaign.
The 27-year-old K-pop rapper, a member of the supergroup Seventeen, is the star of a new Calvin Klein campaign for fall 2024. The iconic brand launched its campaign on Friday, flooding social media with photos and videos of Mingyu wearing Calvin Klein jeans.

The new campaign is intended to showcase the musician’s “distinctive style,” according to a statement, while also letting his personality and “playful energy” shine through.
The campaign videos and photos feature Mingyu in a variety of denim-focused looks, introducing new denim fits and washes for the brand that are paired with classic logo tees, mixed-wash denim layers and lightweight outerwear.
The K-pop star was featured in several denim looks, including ensembles centered around the brand’s ’90s straight-leg jeans, styled in a variety of ways: with the brand’s signature cotton trucker jacket and shorts, a relaxed-fit logo turtleneck tee, and a logo tee layered under a bomber jacket.
The Calvin Klein campaign is the latest in a string of fashion-related news for the performance. The 27-year-old K-pop star has gained a growing presence in the world of luxury fashion and beauty over the past year. Last week, Mingyu was announced as Dior’s latest ambassador, with the brand referring to the rapper as a “man of international style” and “the perfect embodiment of the Dior aesthetic.” He also recently starred in a film L’Occitane Spot in Asia.

Mingyu and the rest of Seventeen, the 13-member K-pop group from Hybe’s sub-label Pledis Entertainment, are preparing to embark on a new U.S. tour this fall, with the exception of members Jeonghan and Jun, who will respectively perform their mandatory military service and pursue acting opportunities in China. [Right Here] The band’s world tour includes stops at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles and Oakland Arena, a concert venue in the San Francisco Bay Area. The tour is tied to a new EP from the band, which is scheduled for release in October.
