Job description
A leading publishing company for federal and civilian agencies is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work on a mass modernization platform that allows for more transparent communication between the government agencies. They are building software that allows to search and leverage old records (written, verbal, etc) from sources like the Library of Congress. This person should be well versed in Full Stack Java Development, building microservices, using Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes. This engineer will work on a team of 12, and also have the ability to learn and use Machine Learning and NLP tools as well. Required Skills: Hands-on experience in designing and developing REST API’s and Microservices Hands-on experience with Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot Hands-on experience with JavaScript framework such as React and Angular Development experience with continuous integration (CI/CD) and automation tools such as GIT/SVN, Maven, Jenkins Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot multi-tiers distributed systems Preferred Skills: Containerization experience with Docker, Kubernetes Cloud experience with AWS or other cloud technologies Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing experience would be a plus!
