Before I started writing about kitchen products for a living, I used them every day as a professional baker. And while few things were as satisfying as pulling a batch of perfectly browned dinner rolls out of the oven, there were also plenty of accidents that could (and did) happen while I was hard at work. Those of us who enjoy spending time in the kitchen can agree on one thing: burning our forearms on an oven rack while removing a tray of brownies is the worst. No need to install them, thanks to these clever oven rack protectors. They slide over the edge of the rack to act as a protection, so in case your arm brushes them, they’ll be covered in heat-resistant silicone rather than a hot piece of metal. They can be cut to fit your oven racks, or even those in your toaster oven or air fryer. To install, simply slide them over the front edge of the rack via their open sides, which have little ridges that grip the metal. It’s that easy! And if they get dirty, simply peel them off to clean.
