Rumor has it: Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin tops Newcastle United’s extended wishlist
Calvert-Lewin, 25, is in his seventh season with Everton, which was highlighted by a terrific pair of seasons in 2019-20 and 2020-21 where he combined for 29 of his 46 total Premier goals League.
He missed three months last campaign with a broken toe and has spent the first two months of the current season on the sidelines nursing a knee injury, which only scored only one league goal since May.
Despite his lack of production in recent months, Calvert-Lewin already has 11 senior England international caps to his name and could be seen as a depreciating asset due to Everton’s struggle in the relegation zone.

According to The Sun, Newcastle want to secure Calvert-Lewin this month as he is ‘high up’ on their list of targets.
The report says he is valued at £35million, and Everton are bracing for offers as they sit in 19th place after just three wins from 19 appearances.
Meanwhile, The Telegraph add that Newcastle are in talks to send striker Chris Wood on loan to Nottingham Forest, along with a list of a number of players the club have expressed interest in.
They include Calvert-Lewin teammate Anthony Gordon, Chelsea trio Conor Gallagher, Hakim Ziyech and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Manchester United’s Scott McTominay.
