Punjab News: In Ferozepur, a girl in Barnala and a young man in Barnala demanded extortion of lakhs, the accused told the man of Goldie Brar gang
Gangster Goldie Brar gang has made a WhatsApp call demanding extortion of five lakh rupees from a girl. Threatened to kidnap if the money is not paid. The girl has been receiving threats since two days. On the other hand, the Mamdot police station has started investigation by registering a case against the unknown on the statement of the victim.
The 22-year-old victim told the police that she received a WhatsApp call on June 5 at 11 am from mobile number 8054479455 and identified herself as a member of the gangster Goldie Brar. He said that he wants five lakh rupees in two days, otherwise he will kidnap. He thought that someone was joking with him.
On June 6, at 6 pm, again got a WhatsApp call from the same number and asked whether the money was arranged or not. If money is not received, it will be taken away. The victim informed her family members in this regard. The victim is terrified after getting a call from gangster Goldie Brar gang. He has given a complaint to the Mamdot police station. Police have registered a case against unknown. On calling from the mobile number, Bhola is being written on the true-caller.
Barnala: Extortion sought from Tapa’s youth
By making a WhatsApp call from a foreign number to a youth of village Tajoke in Barnala district, a person demanded extortion in the name of gangster Goldie Brar. In this case, the police of Thana Tapa has started investigation by registering a case against unknown. In the police station Tapa, the victim told the journalists that he works in a private factory.
On Monday morning, at around 10 am, he received thrice WhatsApp calls from Manila from an unknown person, who was posing as an accomplice of Lawrence Bishnoi gang Goldy and Brar. The accused demanded extortion of three lakh rupees from him and threatened that if he did not pay three lakh rupees, he would have to bear the consequences. The victim immediately informed this to his family and friends. Inspector Balwant Singh, in-charge of Thana Tapa said that the matter is being investigated.
