Preparations to hand over security of Kashmiri Hindu colonies to Central paramilitary forces TOU

The administration is considering the deployment of central paramilitary forces to protect the transit colonies of Kashmiri Hindus and settlements of other minorities in the Kashmir Valley. At the same time, special arrangements are being made for the security of temples and gurdwaras in the valley. According to reports, the outpost and police station in-charges have been asked to submit details of all the minorities living in their respective jurisdictions and prepare a report on their security.

Central paramilitary forces may be deployed

The deployment of CRPF or other central paramilitary forces is being seriously considered for the security of the colonies where Kashmiri Hindus are living. Generally, this responsibility is being handled by the jawans of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Armed Forces. Explain that the security of all the colonies where Hindu families are living is being assessed and on that basis a final decision will be taken to deploy Central paramilitary forces there.

The security of religious places will be cordoned off

According to reports, the security of temples and gurdwaras of the valley as well as religious places is also being assessed. While ensuring the security of all these, personnel of police and central paramilitary forces will be deployed. CCTV cameras will also be installed around all these shrines.
