This summer, Yahoo Sports senior NFL reporters Charles Robinson and Jori Epstein are traveling to training camps across the country. At each stop, they’ll take notes on the quarterback, a rookie to watch, what they’re keeping a close eye on, a fantasy idea, what they saw that was interesting, and a wild card for good measure.

With a vastly improved offensive line (if healthy) and depth in the backfield, Matthew Stafford could have the best running game of his Rams tenure at his disposal. This should make the offense more balanced and harder to defend. While this doesn’t mean Stafford will have a career year in terms of numbers, it could very well be the change that keeps him in the NFL for a few more seasons. — Charles Robinson

The Bears named Caleb Williams the starter a few months ago. That immediately allowed him to command the offense. Williams’ creative arm angles and scrimmage drills look fluid, but he doesn’t escape the pocket too early. CB Jaylon Johnson told me it wasn’t a case of happy feet.
