Lynnwood woman struck in hit-and-run on SR 99 dies

Taylor Druliner, 30, died Saturday morning at Harborview Medical Center, eleven days after she was injured in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 99 just south of 148th Street in Lynnwood.

The Washington State Patrol is still searching for the driver who struck Druliner, who was walking home from work on March 19.

On Saturday, Druliner’s mother, Carol McKinnon, posted this message on her Facebook page: “Taylor Lynn passed away peacefully at 11:07 a.m., surrounded by her family. Even if her life is over, she will survive thanks to her organ donations! Now we need to find the person who did this! She is already greatly missed by everyone who knew her!

Thursday KIRO 7’s Samantha Lomibao spoke with McKinnon.

“It really makes me angry that someone ended their life and someone else continued theirs,” she said.

Since the crash, WSP has released a surveillance photo of the suspect vehicle, a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Toyota Carolla.

If you have any information that could assist in the investigation of the accident, you are asked to call the detective. Dan Comnick at 360-654-1144 or email [email protected].
