LLC Masters 2023: Chris Gayle, Irfan Pathan and Monty Panesar confirm their participation
Former Indian all-rounder Pathan, who was one of the most successful players in Season 2, scoring 225 runs and winning over 11 wickets in seven matches. Young Pathan can’t wait to get back into action.
“Playing with Legends and performing is a feeling that cannot be expressed. The atmosphere during matches is very competitive. I look forward to playing at LLC Masters,” Pathan said.
Former England spinner Panesar, who was one of the most successful bowlers last season with 12 wickets in seven matches, is also looking forward to playing in the coming season.
“I can’t wait to play LLC Masters. We got a lot of love from fans in India during Season 2. Hopefully we can move the game forward from Season 2,” Panesar said.
Legends League Cricket will return as LLC Masters in February 2023, which will be played in Qatar and Oman
Meanwhile, T20 legend Chris Gayle has confirmed his participation in Legends League Cricket’s LLC Masters, saying: “It’s been an exciting season in India, we’ve seen so much energy and fun during the matches. We hope to create the same magic for Qatar fans as well.”
Former Sri Lanka coach Fernando said: “Playing cricket gives me immense joy and playing with so many legends at the same time is a dream come true.”
Former Afghan captain Asghar Afghan said, “I’m really excited to play in LLC Master. Expect all the fun and cricket.”
Legends League Cricket co-founder and CEO Raman Raheja was delighted to host the tournament in a city that recently hosted the FIFA World Cup.
“LLC in Doha will be a celebration of cricket in the city that recently hosted FIFA. We are trying to make the coming season a truly global event by having representation from all the major cricket playing nations. And this list is a example of what we do best in our efforts to promote cricket,” Raheja said.
