Isabelle Thomas, British documentary filmmaker and wife of the Oscar-nominated director Flower Moon Killers Producer Bradley Thomas was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel this week, according to medical records. Thomas was 39 years old.
Isabelle Thomas committed suicide and was discovered with “multiple traumatic injuries” at a local hotel, according to online recordings from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. Citing police sources, TMZ reported this week, on Monday, Thomas had jumped from a high floor of the Angeleno Hotel; The 17-story Westwood Hotel is distinguished by the balconies that surround the building on each floor.
Police sources reportedly indicated that she was discovered dead at the scene when first responders arrived.
“Isabelle was the light of our lives,” the family said in a statement to Los Angeles Times. “She was courageous and fearlessly embraced all of life’s opportunities, showering love and kindness on her friends, family and children along the way. Her projects were as diverse as her passions, reflecting a curiosity about people and our culture that inspired all those lucky enough to spend time with her. We remember her as a kindred spirit, a beautiful daughter, a devoted sister, mother and wife.
The British producer, also known as “Izzy”, is originally from the Cotswolds in the United Kingdom and resided in California with her husband and their two children. According to her website, she graduated from Oxford University and went on to advise on projects for international entertainment companies, private family offices, global membership spaces, start-ups, the UN and the World Bank.
