Jeremy Renner is wondering if he’s ready to reprise his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

He spoke to Entertainment tonight recently, more than a year after his near-fatal snowplow accident on January 1, 2023, on a potential return to The Avengers franchise.

“I’m always up for it,” Renner said. “I’m going to be pretty strong, that’s for sure. I’ll be ready.”

“[I’m doing] probably 90 percent of all the things I had to do… I think another six months will hopefully last [more]…I have to set goals for myself. The rest of my life is focused on health and wellness. Recovery will be part of the rest of my life, so I’m looking forward to that, man. There’s always something to do to get better, to be stronger, to be happier, to be healthier, and that’s what I look forward to.

He added: “It’s hard for me to look back, to be honest with you. It’s hard for me to look forward. I focus on the present moment and the next step in front of me, because there is always another obstacle for me at the moment.
