ISL; Chennaiyin 0 0 ATK Mohun Bagan: ATK shares the spoils in Chennai, remains 4th in the table
Both teams gave their all in what was an entertaining match, creating several chances, but neither team managed to find the back of the net.
Chennaiyin, however, was more dominant between the two in front of their home fans at the Marina Arena.
After a steady start from both sides, Chennaiyin hit the gas pedal and created tight scoring chances. One such case happened in the 20th minute when skipper Anirudh Thapa attempted a volley off an Ajith Kumar cross but narrowly missed the target with the ball wide.

A little later, Thapa created an opportunity for Ninthoinganba Meetei who did well but ended up hitting the side on his final shot.
Three minutes after the half-time break, Samik Mitra made a decisive save when Liston Colaco tried to find the far post. Chennaiyin looked solid in the second half and they kept knocking on the door steadily.
In the 76th minute, Vincy Barretto passed one to Edwin Vanspaul, who fired a superb shot on target from outside the box, but it was saved. Barretto then tested the opposing keeper again with an absolute ball when a loose ball fell to him just outside the box.
It was the third draw in a row for Chennaiyin, who will now travel to Bengaluru for an away game on January 28, while ATK Mohun Bagan will host Odisha on the same day.
