In an Easter message in ALL CAPS, Trump attacks his enemies

Former president Donald TrumpThe Easter Sunday post on Truth Social consisted of seven words about Easter and 161 complaining about the legal system and various of its enemies.

The message in capital letters started “HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE” and ended “HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!” but they were also attacks on those who led the prosecution against him, including special counsel Jack Smith, Fulton County (Georgia) District Attorney Fani Willis (whom he refers to as “MRS. FANI”) FAUNI » WADE) and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin. Smith, with a secondary blow against President Joe Biden and the Justice Department.

Descriptive words in the message include “BAD”, “SICK” (which appears in quotation marks), “DERRANGED” (also in quotation marks), “CORRUPT”, and “CROOKED”, which appears twice. The message also includes “ILLEGAL” and “ILLEGALLY”.

Trump has been charged with 91 counts in various cases, although he has yet to be convicted of any of them.

The message was not unusual for a greeting from the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. His posts last year on Christmas Eve and Christmas covered a similar topic with an ending of “IT’S CALLED ELECTION INTERFERENCE. MERRY CHRISTMAS!” Another message concluded: “MAY THEY ROT IN HELL. AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS! »

Trump’s TruthSocial feed on Sunday also included a photo of him receiving a golf trophy from Jack Nicklaus, winner of 18 major championships and perhaps the most accomplished golfer of all time. Trump bragged last week about winning championships at his own club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

In contrast, President Joe Biden posted on Sunday: “Jill and I extend our warmest wishes to Christians around the world celebrating Easter Sunday. Easter reminds us of the power of hope and the promise of Christ’s resurrection.

Biden’s message is over: “From our family to yours, Happy Easter and God bless.”
