Ariana Grande has officially finished filming the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Wickedand it’s safe to say that it was a memorable chapter for her.

The singer-actress reposted a message about her from director Jon M. Chu Instagram Stories Thursday, which read: “I will never forget my year with our Galinda. I can’t wait for you to meet her. Thank you @arianagrande for putting your heart into Oz.

Grande added her own heartfelt response to the post, writing, “I will also never forget even a minute of my years with her. Or you. Or my Cyn [Cynthia Erivo]. Permanently and preferably intertwined. I’m inexplicably grateful to have been able to add so many soggy lashes to the @jonmchu collection.

She continued: “There are no words yet. But. Thank you, Jon, for leading the way with such compassion, openness, genius and kindness. I’ve never seen anyone run a space like you do. I love you so much.”

Grande plays Glinda, opposite Erivo’s Elphaba, in the highly anticipated Wicked, which is divided into two parts. The films also star Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Jeff Goldblum, Marissa Bode, Keala Settle, Bronwyn James, Adam James and Bowen Yang.
