How to Watch the Premier League in the USA with a VPN

It must be nice to be a Premier League player and have summers off. (Just kidding, remember the Olympics? And Euro 2024?) But despite the fact that many of the league’s players have been jumping from tournament to tournament during their offseason, they’re all back in action this weekend for the official start of the Premier League season. The top tier of the English football league resumes on Friday, August 16 with a match between Manchester City and Fulham. If you’re located in the United States and want to catch this weekend’s games, some of them will be available to stream on Peacock or live on NBC, Universo, Telemundo, or USA Network, but you can also tune in to each game with the help of a VPN.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the 2024-25 Premier League season if you’re in the US, including this weekend’s full schedule, where you can watch the games live and how you can stream it with a VPN.

As in every season in the English football league system, the bottom three teams in the standings at the end of the season are relegated to the Championship League, while the top three teams in the Championship League are promoted to the Premier League. For the 2024–25 season, the teams that have been promoted or have retained their Premier League status are:

  • Bournemouth

  • Brentford

  • Brighton and Hove Albion

  • Chelsea

  • Crystal Palace

  • Everton

  • Fulham

  • Ipswich Town (promoted this season)

  • Newcastle United

  • Nottingham Forest

  • Southampton (promoted this season)

  • Tottenham Hotspur

  • West Ham United

  • Wolverhampton Wanderers

The 2024-24 Premier League season will kick off on Friday, August 16, 2024 with Manchester City and Chelsea at 3:00 PM ET. The season will run until May 25, 2025.

Premier League games are broadcast on a mix of NBC, CNBC, USA Network, Peacock, and Universo, so to catch all the games you’ll need a mix of Peacock and cable or a live TV streaming service (or the help of a VPN, more on that below).

While you can stream some Premier League games live on Peacock for a subscription, you can also watch every live game this season using a VPN. By using a VPN with your location set to another country, you can tune in to all 380 games this season.
