Fan uproar as Olivia Dunne’s TikTok disappears

Olivia Dunne fans were lost without her TikTok after her account apparently disappeared on Wednesday.

The star LSU gymnast – who has more than seven million followers on TikTok – took to Twitter early in the morning to address widespread concern from fans who noticed “strange” activity on her account before it does not break down, the New York Post reports.

“That’s a problem,” Dunne tweeted in response to someone who said she deleted and unpinned many of her videos. “I don’t know what’s wrong with my account right now.”



Dunne, 20, also reposted a tweet from someone who wrote, “Tom Brady is retiring and Livvy Dunne’s TikTok is banned. It really is a sad day in America.

By Wednesday afternoon, Dunne’s TikTok account was back. Her latest post, which was posted online Tuesday, included footage of her performing on the uneven bars at LSU’s training facility.

She also shared the videos to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, writing, “Get the rhythm of things back.”

The New Jersey native, who is a junior on a four-year athletic scholarship to LSU, was sidelined with a torn labrum in his lower left leg.



Last month, Dunne appeared on “The Today Show,” where she discussed her seven-figure earnings from brand deals and NIL, as well as massive fan attendance at the season opener. Tigers vs. Utah in Salt Lake City.

Several Dunne fans showed up at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, where teenagers held signs asking for the gymnast’s photos and social media followings. The crowd triggered a police presence and reporters at the event described the scene as “frightening and disturbing”.

After the LSU-Utah meet, Dunne addressed fan behavior in a tweet, asking fans to “respect fellow gymnasts and the gymnastics community.”

Dunne told “Today” that LSU has new security measures in place and a security guard is traveling with the team.

The No. 9 Tigers host Georgia at the Maravich Center in Baton Rouge on Friday.
