Under this, it will be easy to send goods from industries and other agricultural products including apples to outside states. With the development of infrastructure, development works will also get a boost. Both the policies have been approved in the cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at the state secretariat. Under the Drone Policy, the Education Department will conduct various training courses. Farmers and gardeners will be connected with the new technology of drones by contracting with the Department of Agriculture and Horticulture. On May 31, in Shimla, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also talked about Himachal benefiting from drone technology. This policy will create a holistic drone eco system built on the basis of governance and reform (Garuda) using drones. Its main objective is to utilize the digital sky opportunities through institutional linkages like National Education Policy-2020, Himachal Pradesh Industrial Investment Policy, Himachal Pradesh Startup, Innovation Scheme, National Skill Qualification Framework.
