Shares of Chemanol soared to an all-time high following the highest gains in Q1
Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s main market opened higher this week as investors watched the uncertainty in the energy market and looked for new corporate results.
At 10:07 a.m. Sunday, TASI was up 0.23 percent at 13,652, while the parallel Nomu was down 0.22 percent at 24,365.
In terms of energy trading, oil prices rose on Friday, but recorded their second week of decline.
Brent crude settled at $ 102.78 and the US benchmark West Texas Intermediate settled at $ 98.16.
Methanol Chemicals Co. After registering the highest quarterly profit with 244 per cent growth in the first quarter of 2022, it achieved 3.91 per cent growth in early trading.
Retailers United Electronics Co. topped the list with Extra, down 1.90 percent, while Jarr Marketing Co. also fell 1.46 percent.
Aldris Petroleum & Transport Services’s net profit rose 58 percent to SR62.4 ($ 16.64) in the first quarter, up 1.29 percent from a year earlier.
Shares of Saudi Aramco, the largest player in the Saudi oil market, fell 0.35 percent today.
Saudi Industrial Investment Group, or SIIG, saw dividends in the second half of 2021 and the first half of 2022 rise 1.84 percent after the SR0.75 declaration.
Shares of Saudi pharma giant Aldawa Medical Services fell flat, while Nahdi Medical Company fell 0.23%.
In the financial sector, Al Rajhi Bank gained 1.17 per cent, while Alinma Bank fell 0.24 per cent.
