Apple was in talks with half a dozen media partners, including Walt Disney, to develop virtual reality content for its mixed reality headset, Bloomberg News reported Monday. Developed with Sony Group, the headset will have two ultra-high resolution displays to handle VR aspects and an array of external cameras to enable augmented reality “pass-through mode”, the report says. He added that the tech giant was working on updating its own Apple TV+ hardware to work with the headphones. Disney, Apple and Sony did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.
