We recently wrote a story about some of the most awesome movie and TV moments that were actually mistakes that filmmakers decided to keep, and we’re back to uncover even more! With a little help from the BuzzFeed Community, here are 19 more iconic mistakes that turned out to be pure gold.

In an episode of season 4 of The Big Bang TheorySheldon throws away the pages of his roommate agreement after Leonard reveals that he and Penny broke up again. One of the pieces of paper hilariously sticks to his head as he asks Leonard if he even thinks about other people, and the audience laughs – it was a complete accidentbut actor Jim Parsons kept a straight face. (Although he can be seen smiling in the blooper reels.)

In The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the RingPippin’s cry when the fireworks explode was a genuine reaction from Billy Boyd. He was startled by the flash of light and the fireworks being shot off by a piece of string and made a hilarious surprised noise that was perfectly suited to his character.

And this symbolic moment in The Two Towerswhen the flag of Rohan flies off its pole before Eowyn’s eyes, was also not planned. It was very windy on the plateau and the flag was torn off, but it was so perfect for Eowyn’s emotions that it was kept.

According to the DVD Commentary For Being John Malkovich, Extras smuggled beer onto the set during one scene, leading one of them to throw a can at Malvovich and yell at him to “think fast!” Malkovich complied and screamed in pain—his overreaction helped keep the scene in the film.

Jim Carrey apparently really asked the filmmakers to give him a line in this scene A series of unfortunate eventsThis line was kept because it fit Olaf’s theatrical persona and highlighted his lack of genuine empathy.

Gary wasn’t supposed to break the tea set in this case. Vice-president scene. He accidentally backed up. According to has Anna Chlumsky, the film’s co-star, said: “Our director yelled, ‘Keep going, keep going!’ So they kept running and, as characters, had to hide the china and put it behind a curtain. Some of the greatest Laurel and Hardy-inspired comedy came out of that. And we were all in the room, right behind the camera, trying really hard not to laugh. It was just one of those friendly moments, everybody’s in this together, we’re going to support this moment and just the openness to spontaneity. That was exactly what we all commit to every season.”
